Die Kurt F. Gödel Bibliothek
2013. Wood and shelves.
The idea of transforming a list of words into a vast library made of wooden blocks was born, like many collections,
from a whimsical image of accumulation: an assembly of books with titles, but lacking words, piled and stacked up
in bookshelves.

I drafted an invitation that was sent to hundreds of potential collaborators in order to give titles to the books, which were to be inspired by impossibilities and contradictions. The results turned out to be exceedingly abstract or universal to be contained in a book, too specific, self-referential, non-sensical, improbable, truncated, forgotten, or simply desirable.
