These images were produced by recording video and sound from a scanner in operation. The work looks at the process of digitalization as an energetic and material phenomenon: the exact movement where books and documents are converted into information.
The music was designed by Esteban Chapela to be reproduced in a multi-channel setting. Here you can here the stereo version.
