These sculptures belong to a series of geometric, Earth-made objects — meteorites — cast in bismuth (Bi), which decays so slowly that its half-life exceeds the estimated age of the Universe by billions of times.
This is an Earth-made iron-cast object that resembles a meteorite and weighs more than 250kg. The original model used to produce the work was destroyed by the molten metal, making every specimen unique.
